Champion Bio
An original 40 champion, Katarina was a game-changing assassin—literally. Without mana or energy, Katarina shunpo-d to the Rift with Gunblade burst and Mejai's snowballs. Granted, she had some killer instincts that made her too cleanly cutthroat, like ward jumping and empowered abilities... but she'll always be a favorite facerolling, pentakilling icon.
What Changed in Classic
- Bouncing Blades (Q) deals damage and marks enemies, Katarina can consume the mark with spells or attacks to deal extra magic damage. - Sinister Steel (W) does damage around Katarina and increases her movement speed if the ability hits a champion. - Shunpo (E) deals damage and blinks to target; afterwards the ability provides damage reduction to Katarina.

PPASSIVE: Champion kills or assists reduce Katarina's cooldowns by 15 seconds.
Bouncing Blade
QACTIVE: Throws a dagger dealing 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 (+45% AP) magic damage. The dagger bounces to the 4 closest enemies dealing 10% less damage with each bounce.
Enemies hit are marked for 4.25 seconds. Katarina's basic attacks or spells will consume the mark dealing 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 (+15% AP) additional magic damage.
Sinister Steel
WACTIVE: Whirls daggers in a circle dealing 40 / 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 (+25% AP) (+60% AD) magic damage. If she hits an enemy Champion, Katarina gains 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35% Movement Speed for 1 second.
Shunpo
EACTIVE: Moves to a target's location. Deals 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 (+40% AP) magic damage if the target is an enemy.
After using Shunpo, Katarina takes 15% reduced damage for 1.5 seconds.
Death Lotus
RACTIVE: Becomes a flurry of blades, throwing daggers at the closest 3 enemy Champions dealing 40 / 57.5 / 75 (+37.5% AD) (+25% AP) × 10% magic damage over 2.5 seconds.
